Our History:

St. Francis Mortgage Corporation was created by St. Francis Bank FSB, in October of 1999, to further promote the goal of affordable home ownership to borrowers located in the States of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, and Michigan . We opened our doors officially in January of 2000, at offices located in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois .

Over the years St. Francis Mortgage Corporation has partnered with professional mortgage brokers and Banks throughout the country and provided thousands of loans to qualified borrowers.

In November of 2003, Baytree National Bank and Trust Co., located in Lake Forest, Illinois, and privately held, acquired St. Francis Mortgage Corporation in a stock sale transaction with St. Francis Bank FSB. As a result of this transaction, St. Francis Mortgage Corporation, now Baytree Lending Company, has broadened its' reach to include an origination and processing center, in West Allis, Wisconsin, for our Home Equity Mortgage products Division, which continues to operate under the d/b/a name of St. Francis Mortgage Corporation.

Today:

At St. Francis Mortgage Corporation, we take pride in providing the best combination of Product, Price and Performance in the wholesale, second mortgage business. We've expanded our reach beyond the Midwest and now originate loans in large sections of the Southeastern, greater Midwestern, and West Coast regions of the contiguous United States.

Product:

The second mortgage products offered to professional mortgage brokers by St. Francis Mortgage Corporation are designed to be affordable, flexible and suited to the unique needs of each borrower. We offer both fixed rate, closed end second mortgages and home equity lines of credit for both purchase money and refinance transactions.

These loans can stand alone on their own, or may be placed behind the first mortgage of other first mortgage providers; but as an approved mortgage broker of St. Francis Mortgage Corporation, the broker has access to the all of the conforming and Alt A, first mortgage products offered by Baytree Lending Company.

Price:

Our loans are competitively priced, among the best in the business, for second mortgage loan products. And we survey our competition continually, to make sure that we are delivering the value our clients have come to expect.

Performance:

We have a very experienced staff with many years of experience; not only experience working in the second mortgage business, but experience as a production team working together. We strive to find ways to identify quality loan prospects and streamline the mortgage approval process to benefit our mortgage broker partners and our borrower clients.
